PixelSmith raises $11M Seed and launches DesignerCoPilot for pixel-level UI polishing

PixelSmith announced a seed round of $11 million led by VectorSeed and released DesignerCoPilot, a plugin that analyzes UI artboards and suggests micro improvements such as spacing consistency, animation easing adjustments, and accessibility fixes.

DesignerCoPilot works with common design platforms, flagging issues like small hit target sizes and insufficient contrast, and offers one-click fixes or rationale for manual edits. The tool also exports a remediation checklist for developers.

The funding will be used to extend platform support, enhance model explainability, and build enterprise collaboration features such as role-based reviews and design policy enforcement.

Design leads said the plugin helps catch small issues that commonly slip through review cycles, speeding up handoffs and reducing the number of rounds needed to reach production-ready UI.
