PixelSynth, a company building AI audio tools for games and media, announced a $28 million Series A led by Crescendo Capital and launched PixelSynth Composer, a hybrid on-prem/cloud system that generates adaptive music tracks for games. Composer can output stems with dynamic occlusion and intensity layers to match in-game events in real time.
The product offers low-latency on-device inference for consoles and a cloud rendering option for orchestral assets, plus granular licensing controls suitable for commercial game releases. PixelSynth emphasizes the ability to export to DAWs and integrate with common game engines through plugins.
Funds will go to expanding music model libraries, improving console-level inference, and signing partnerships with middleware providers. Several mid-size studios are already piloting Composer in live projects slated for 2027 releases.
