PixelWeave launches Weave Studio with native Figma plugin after $12M seed

PixelWeave announced a $12 million seed round led by Craft Capital and the immediate availability of Weave Studio, a motion-design workspace built to plug directly into Figma files. The company says the Figma plugin preserves layers and constraints while enabling timeline-based motion design and export to Lottie, CSS, and native mobile animation formats.
Weave Studio supports team libraries, versioned motion assets, and a reusable-interaction system so designers can apply consistent easing curves and micro-interaction patterns across products. PixelWeave emphasizes accessibility features, including reduced-motion presets and automated contrast checks for animated states.
The seed proceeds will be used to expand integrations (Sketch, Adobe XD), improve real-time collaboration, and hire motion engineers to build native SDKs for iOS and Android. PixelWeave also announced an early-adopter program for design teams at scale-ups and agencies.
Design leaders quoted in the company's announcement highlighted faster handoffs and fewer engineering reworks when motion prototypes are shipped with production-ready assets. PixelWeave plans a free tier for small teams and a paid enterprise edition with single-sign-on and design-system governance controls.
