PlayForge raises $14M and unveils ForgeKit — a no‑code multiplayer backend for indie devs

ForgeKit provides a visual flow editor for state synchronization, authoritative match logic, and deterministic rollback systems, aiming to remove server infrastructure as a blocker for small studios. The product integrates with popular engines and supports peer‑to‑peer or hosted sessions.

The funding was led by Supercell Ventures and joined by several indie-focused publishers. PlayForge will use the capital to scale hosting, improve latency across regions, and build a marketplace of multiplayer templates.

A handful of indie studios will access early credits and mentoring to launch multiplayer titles using ForgeKit, and PlayForge plans to publish case studies showing reduced time‑to‑market and lower hosting costs.
