Playloom raises $16M to launch an indie-focused player analytics SDK

Playloom announced a $16 million seed round led by IndieFund Partners and launched LoomMetrics, an analytics SDK tailored for indie and small studios that focuses on lightweight instrumentation and privacy compliance. LoomMetrics is designed to provide actionable funnels, retention cohorts, and session replay summaries without heavy instrumentation overhead.

The SDK emphasizes privacy by default, with client-side aggregation and differential privacy options for event collection. Playloom also provides a visualization console and anomaly alerts tuned to small-team workflows so developers can iterate quickly on loops and monetization tweaks.

Funds will grow customer success, build partnerships with engine toolchains, and add predictive churn models. Playloom is offering discounted tiers for solo developers and classroom licenses for game design programs.
