PlayLoop's platform helps mobile studios run live events, manage content rollouts, and experiment with player-facing features. The $30 million Series B, led by Velocity Partners, will fund deeper personalization features and a visual authoring tool for non-technical designers.
New roadmap items include an AI-driven event optimizer that suggests schedule changes based on engagement signals and a templating engine for seasonal content. PlayLoop also plans native integrations with major ad networks and app stores to streamline campaign attribution.
The company is expanding its marketplace of third-party plug-ins and launching a studio certification program to help small teams adopt production best practices for live operations. Investors cited PlayLoop's traction with several top-grossing titles as a key factor.
