Polaris AI raises $100M to grow multilingual assistant and launches TranslateGPT

Polaris AI announced a $100 million funding round and the release of TranslateGPT, a multilingual conversational assistant designed for rapid translation and localization in customer support and internal knowledge workflows. TranslateGPT focuses on contextual fidelity and maintaining tone across languages.

The company claims low-latency inference tailored for bilingual agent-assist scenarios, and provides features such as term glossaries, style enforcement, and legal-safe translation modes. Polaris says TranslateGPT integrates with major contact center platforms and popular messaging apps.

Funding will expand data collection in under-served languages, strengthen safety and bias-mitigation research, and support enterprise deployment options including private-cloud and on-premise instances. Early pilots with multinational retailers reported significant reductions in average handle time for cross-border support queries.
