Polaris XR secures $28M and rolls out HoloStudio for AR spatial design

HoloStudio enables designers to place, scale, and animate 3D assets directly in spatial canvases with multi-user collaboration and real-world surface simulation. The kit includes physics-aware snapping, occlusion previews, and publishing pipelines to AR app stores and web-AR platforms.

The $28 million funding came from Meridian Ventures and strategic investments from an enterprise software firm exploring AR for field work. Polaris XR will use funds to support device partnerships and to build templates for retail, training, and remote assistance scenarios.

Polaris says HoloStudio reduces the friction of testing AR scene placement across devices, offering a unified preview mode and time-of-day lighting simulation. The product is positioned toward enterprise AR teams and creative agencies building immersive retail and training experiences.
