Prism Analytics pivots to real-time visual data stories and lands $20M Series A
Tech · 5 min read
Prism Analytics announced a $20 million Series A led by Meridian Capital and introduced Prism Live, a platform that stitches live data streams into interactive visual narratives. Prism Live uses pattern-detection models to surface anomalous trends and auto-create short 'data stories' that product and marketing teams can iterate on and share.
The company says Prism Live reduces the manual work of creating decks and status reports by turning live metrics into contextual narratives, complete with recommended follow-up analyses. Prism's models ingest time-series, event streams, and dimension tables to produce explanations that link back to source metrics and timestamps.
Proceeds from the round will accelerate integrations with warehouse providers and event buses, expand template libraries for common use cases, and add collaborative editing features. Early pilots include a fintech company using Prism Live for fraud-detection situational awareness and a media business tracking campaign attribution.
