PrismUI Launches Headless Design-Tokens API After $11M Funding

PrismUI announced an $11 million funding round and the launch of a headless design-tokens API to synchronize theming across mobile, web, and embedded apps.

The API serves tokens with versioning, feature flags, and A/B rollout primitives. Applications can subscribe to token changes at runtime, enabling coordinated theme experiments and instant global updates without full releases.

PrismUI offers SDKs for common stacks and serializers for CSS, JSON, and platform-native theme formats. Governance controls include policy rules, token deprecation warnings, and dependency graphs to prevent breaking changes.

Proceeds will hire platform engineers, improve offline sync reliability, and add enterprise features like SSO and audit logs. Early customers include fintechs and consumer hardware manufacturers with complex theming needs.
