Pronto raises $10M to scale real-time prototyping app and debuts 'Live Components'
Design · 3 min read
Live Components are bidirectional UI primitives that maintain parity between designers' artboards and developers' component libraries. Changes in code or design sync automatically with conflict resolution and preview tooling.
The $10 million round was led by Constellation VC with participation from a handful of product-led investors. Pronto said funds will be used to expand their integrations with frontend frameworks and to build enterprise features for versioning and governance.
Pronto's real-time canvas already supports collaborative testing, user flow recording, and high-fidelity micro-interactions. With Live Components, teams can export production-ready component code while preserving designers' authored states and tokens.
Early adopters praise the reduced handoff time and clearer ownership of component changes. Pronto will broaden its ecosystem with marketplace templates and an SDK for custom component adapters in the coming months.
