ProtoPie adds physics-driven interactions and WebXR preview for immersive demos

ProtoPie's latest engine upgrade introduces built-in physics primitives—mass, friction, gravity, springs—that designers can apply without scripting. These primitives simplify the creation of tactile micro-interactions like draggable, bouncy cards or momentum-based lists, which previously required complex timing curves or custom equations.

The update pairs physics with a WebXR preview channel: prototypes can be exported as WebXR sessions that run in compatible browsers and standalone headsets. Testers can experience depth, occlusion, and spatial interaction without building a native app. ProtoPie also included new haptics mapping and optional controller input bindings to simulate common headset controllers.
