PulsePlay raises $24M and debuts ReplayStudio, an in-engine tool for sharable gameplay highlights

PulsePlay introduced ReplayStudio, an in-engine recorder and editor that surfaces key moments with metadata-driven clipping, camera controls, and export presets for social platforms. ReplayStudio integrates with match telemetry to tag dramatic events automatically, allowing players and creators to produce highlight reels without external editing tools.

The $24 million Series A, led by Makers Fund and with participation from esports investors, will support integration into major engines and partnerships with streaming platforms. PulsePlay emphasized monetization features like branded highlight packs and creator tip-lines that tie clips back to origin matches for revenue attribution.

Developers testing ReplayStudio said it boosted community content and reduced friction for creator pipelines. PulsePlay plans to introduce collaborative editing features and cloud-native rendering so highlights can be produced without taxing gamers' hardware.
