QuantaCharge launches 800W GaN laptop charger and closes $20M Series A

QuantaCharge's new charger delivers up to 800 watts across multiple PD ports and a dedicated high-voltage outlet for mobile workstations and pro laptops. The device uses advanced gallium nitride topologies to maintain compact form factor and high efficiency under sustained loads.

The Series A was led by Volt Partners, with commitments from specialty distributors in the creative hardware market. Funds will be used to scale manufacturing, certify the product across global safety standards, and build a branded line of professional power accessories.

The product also targets remote production teams who need desktop-class performance in field setups. QuantaCharge introduced a companion firmware update portal so IT departments can push power profiles and security updates to managed units in enterprise deployments.
