QuantaCloud Launches Regionless VPC and Raises $75M to Re-architect Networking Stack

QuantaCloud's regionless VPC allows workloads to move between points of presence without changing virtual network configuration, simplifying multi-region deployments. The product uses a global control plane and software-defined routing to keep private IPs intact while offering QoS guarantees and predictable latency.

The company emphasized use cases like multiplayer gaming, live video, and edge compute where session continuity and low latency matter. QuantaCloud also introduced a hybrid-tenant mode so enterprises can attach on-prem racks into the same logical VPC fabric.

The $75 million growth round led by Atlas Ventures will be allocated to network capacity expansion, partnerships with edge providers, and building out compliance and enterprise-grade traffic inspection tools. QuantaCloud expects the regionless VPC to enter GA with initial CDN and database integration partners later this year.
