QuantaVision clocks $50M to launch a generative design engine for product form factors
Design · 5 min read
QuantaVision, a deep tech studio focusing on product engineering, announced a $50 million round led by Axis Partners to scale its generative design engine. The system uses differentiable simulation, topology optimization, and learned priors to propose product shells and internal structures that balance beauty, strength, and manufacturability.
The engine integrates with CAD pipelines and offers constraint templates for injection molding, 3D printing, and sheet metal. Designers input brand cues, user ergonomics, and manufacturing limits; QuantaVision returns a ranked set of prototypes with associated cost and performance estimates.
Several consumer electronics manufacturers are piloting the tech to accelerate concept exploration. QuantaVision will expand its materials library, CAD connectors, and enterprise licensing options with the new funds.
