QuantumFabric raises $150M to commercialize room-temperature quantum interconnects
Tech ยท 6 min read
QuantumFabric revealed funding to scale production of its photonic-based quantum interconnect modules that operate at or near room temperature. The modules translate qubit states into photonic signals, enabling long-distance quantum links without cryogenic cabling.
The capital will be used to expand fabrication facilities and accelerate integration with classical datacenter networking. QuantumFabric focuses on hybrid quantum-classical workloads, where low-friction connectivity between quantum hardware pools and classical servers speeds up model offloading and orchestration.
Industry partners in finance and materials science are piloting early deployments. QuantumFabric expects commercial availability of their rack-level interconnects in 2027, pitched as an enabler for distributed quantum computing services.
