QuantumKey introduces consumer post-quantum VPN router

QuantumKey released a consumer-grade router that implements hybrid post-quantum cryptography for VPN tunnels and automated remote attestation for firmware integrity. The device aims to future-proof home and small office networks against emerging quantum threats.

Beyond cryptography, the router includes QoS controls, device-level VPN profiles and an easy-to-use mobile app for onboarding guests and temporary workers. QuantumKey also integrates with major cloud providers to offer secure, zero-trust access for distributed teams.

The company plans retail distribution later this year and a managed subscription for enterprise-grade features such as centralized logging and hardware-backed key rotation. QuantumKey stressed that the post-quantum features are optional and designed to coexist with existing VPN ecosystems.
