QuantumKey raises $25M to commercialize privacy-preserving model fine-tuning for regulated industries

QuantumKey announced a $25 million funding round to launch a privacy-preserving model fine-tuning platform designed for regulated industries. The platform provides cryptographic attestations, data lineage tracking, and soil-boxed environments to ensure training data never leaves controlled premises.

Target customers include hospitals, banks, and government agencies that need to fine-tune large models to domain-specific language while meeting compliance demands. QuantumKey's toolchain integrates with on-prem GPUs and secure enclaves and produces an immutable audit trail for model provenance.

The funding will accelerate partnerships with cloud integrators and expand support for multi-party computation techniques. QuantumKey says the solution aims to remove regulatory friction for enterprises looking to deploy responsibly adapted AI.
