RenderCloud, which operates a decentralized GPU marketplace, raised $65 million in a round led by Horizon Infrastructure Partners. The company provides burst rendering for design teams, VFX houses, and visualization studios that need elastic GPU capacity for tight deadlines.
New funds will expand their global footprint to reduce latency for collaborative remote work and add support for specialized hardware such as ray-tracing accelerators and AI inference cards. RenderCloud is also launching a streaming layer that lets designers preview large scenes in real time without local GPU dependency.
The company is positioning itself as an alternative to long-term cloud GPU contracts, offering hourly pricing and project-based packages. RenderCloud will also introduce integrations with major 3D tools and a plugin that queues renders directly from the artist's application.
