Reverb Labs launches 'DesignOps Hub' and raises $21M to automate handoffs and token management

DesignOps Hub consolidates design tokens, component versions, and release notes, and can auto-generate code wrappers and changelogs that feed directly into CI pipelines. The system alerts teams to token changes that might create regressions and offers automated migration patches.

The funding was led by Sapphire Ventures and will be invested in deeper editor integrations, enterprise SSO, and migration tooling for legacy systems. Reverb emphasized compatibility with existing design systems rather than replacing them.

Design and engineering teams reported fewer mismatches and faster rollout cycles using the Hub, although some orgs asked for customizable migration strategies that respect legacy component behavior. Reverb is adding flexible migration presets and a staging preview feature for complex rollouts.
