Robotics OS maker OrchestrateAI raises $200M to commercialize modular robot platform

OrchestrateAI announced a $200 million Series D led by SoftBank Vision Fund 3, with strategic co-investors from major industrial automation firms. The company plans to scale manufacturing partnerships and accelerate enterprise deployments across logistics hubs.

Their open robotics OS provides task orchestration, fleet-level scheduling, and a marketplace for interchangeable robot modules—lifting arms, grippers, and sensor packs—that can be hot-swapped. OrchestrateAI emphasizes standards that let third-party hardware integrate quickly with minimal driver development.

Pilot installations with contract logistics providers reported throughput improvements and simplified maintenance compared with bespoke automation stacks. OrchestrateAI will use the funding to certify module suppliers and build a developer program to expand the ecosystem.
