The new scene-aware editing capability in Gen-2 recognizes plane geometry, light sources, and object boundaries to perform edits that respect physical continuity. Runway's Figma plugin exports editable compositions—rather than flattened raster images—so designers can tweak mask boundaries, swap assets, or re-render variations directly in Figma. The plugin also offers a lightweight rendering mode for faster previews and a high-fidelity cloud render option for final visual assets.
