Runway's GenStudio 3.0 brings real-time UI animation synthesis

Runway's GenStudio 3.0 adds a real-time animation synthesizer for UI and motion design. Designers can sketch keyframes or describe animations with natural language and see fluid results instantly in the canvas, with export options to Lottie and CSS.

The system supports conditional animations tied to state changes and can generate alternate motion styles—subtle, expressive, or motion-reduced—so teams can test accessibility tradeoffs quickly. Runway emphasizes low-latency interactivity so animation editing becomes part of normal design rhythms.

GenStudio 3.0 also integrates with popular prototyping tools, making it easier to drop production-quality motion into user tests and to hand off motion specs to developers. The update pushes Runway further into the product design toolchain beyond film and video.
