Sentinel Robotics raises $60M to mass-produce service robots with mobile autonomy

Sentinel Robotics, known for autonomous service robots that perform tasks such as restocking and room service delivery, raised $60 million in a growth round led by Halcyon Partners. The company plans to scale manufacturing capacity and deploy fleets into major retail and hotel chains.

The latest robots use multimodal sensing—lidar, event cameras, and thermal imaging—plus a new local mapping chipset that reduces CPU load and improves robustness in busy indoor environments. Sentinel is also rolling out a new fleet management console with real-time task prioritization and human override workflows.

Funds will go into supply chain resiliency, certification for global markets, and hiring operations teams to support rapid installations. The company aims to convert a pipeline of pilots into enterprise contracts over the next 12 months.
