Seraph Studios launches CloudArcade for retro titles and closes $25M to build subscription library

CloudArcade hosts remastered retro classics alongside modern indie games optimized for cloud streaming. Seraph Studios emphasizes curation and discovery tools—playlists by era, developer spotlights, and community curation channels that reward contributors with in-service credits.

The $25 million funding round will be used to license classic catalogs, build regional cloud presence to reduce latency, and develop a web-native client that supports instant play across devices without heavy downloads. Investors include a mix of gaming-focused funds and legacy IP holders looking for monetization on older catalogs.

Seraph Studios also announced partnerships with two mid-sized publishers to bring exclusive remasters to CloudArcade over the next year. The company said subscription tiers will include a low-latency “Pro” tier for competitive retro titles and a family tier with curated parental controls.
