SignalMesh raises $40M and launches privacy-first messaging SDK for enterprises

SignalMesh announced a $40 million round led by SecureCap and unveiled an SDK for building privacy-first messaging into enterprise applications. The SDK supports end-to-end encryption, client-side metadata minimization, and configurable ephemeral windows to meet regulatory requirements.

Beyond basic messaging, SignalMesh provides attestable storage controls, audit trails locked to customer keys, and a policy engine that enforces retention and compliance rules across user cohorts. The product integrates with identity providers and offers connectors to existing case management and CRM systems.

Funds will be used to expand regulatory certifications, build enterprise onboarding templates, and scale the security engineering team. Early pilots highlight adoption in healthcare telemedicine apps and financial advisory platforms where client confidentiality is required.

Product teams welcomed an SDK that reduces the burden of building secure messaging from scratch, particularly the complexities of key management and cross-device sync. SignalMesh plans an on-premises option and a managed cloud service for customers with differing compliance needs.
