SilkStudio raises $6.5M to expand no-code motion design platform

SilkStudio's no-code motion design platform lets product teams craft micro-interactions and full-screen transitions with an intuitive timeline and generative easing suggestions. Exports include runtime-optimized JSON and native code snippets for apps.

The seed funding will expand templates, enterprise controls, and developer plugins for popular frameworks. SilkStudio aims to democratize motion by making patterns accessible to PMs and frontend engineers, reducing reliance on specialist motion teams.

SilkStudio also added collaborative comments, variant states, and an accessibility audit for motion-sensitive users. The company plans landing integrations with design systems so motion tokens can be standardized across product suites.
