Sketch 100 launches with responsive constraints inspector and tokens hub
Design ยท 5 min read
The responsive constraints inspector shows constraint relationships and potential collision points across breakpoints, enabling designers to spot layout failures early. Sketch added simulation controls to scrub viewport sizes and highlight which constraints trigger component reflows.
The tokens hub centralizes color, typography, spacing, and motion tokens with export profiles for CSS, JSON, and popular framework formats. Teams can lock tokens and push updates to consumers, which now include a preview of what changed and which components will be affected.
Sketch also improved its plugin API to expose constraint metadata and token change hooks, encouraging integrations with design system managers and build pipelines. The company said this release is targeted at agencies and large product teams dealing with responsive complexity.
