Sketch adds AI assistant to convert user flows into component libraries

Designers upload flow diagrams or paste a sequence of screens; the assistant analyzes repeated elements and proposes a component library with states, tokens, and interaction prototypes. It includes a naming normalization tool that enforces consistent layer and symbol names.

The generated library can be published to shared team libraries and linked to developer handoff exports. Sketch included a review mode where designers can accept, reject, or merge proposed components back into the source artboard.

The feature targets teams consolidating older ad-hoc files into a scalable system. Sketch warned that the assistant is most effective when flows are clear and suggested steps for cleaning inputs to get the best results.
