Sketch releases Live Tokens and AI-driven component naming

Sketch Live Tokens are dynamic tokens baked into symbols that update across files and export to CSS variables or design tokens for codebases. Designers can push token changes to branches and preview the impact across instances before committing to system updates.

The AI component-naming tool analyzes a component’s structure and intended use to suggest semantic, accessible names that align with a project’s naming conventions. It also highlights naming collisions and offers batch rename suggestions to improve system consistency.

Sketch emphasized that these features are designed for mature design systems where token management and naming conventions are critical to scalability. The update includes migration tools to help legacy projects adopt Live Tokens without losing previous styles.
