Sketch releases Prototyper AI plugin for automated interaction flows

Sketch launched Prototyper AI, a plugin that turns static screens into interactive flows with suggested transitions, state changes, and micro-interactions. Designers can select a set of artboards and ask Prototyper to infer likely user journeys and produce clickable prototypes complete with timing and easing.

The plugin also generates a developer-friendly spec sheet: transition descriptions, animation curves, and asset slices are laid out for handoff. Prototyper AI can output code snippets for popular frameworks, though Sketch remains careful to present these as scaffolding rather than final production code.

Sketch positioned the feature as a productivity tool for early-stage prototyping and user testing. Teams can accept, reject, or edit inferred interactions, keeping designers firmly in control of the experience.
