Sketchfab launches ModelMorph: AI-assisted 3D UI components for games and AR

ModelMorph creates stylized 3D components based on textual prompts and reference images, then provides topology-preserving edits so designers can reshape models for different control schemes or platform constraints. It also creates bake-ready UVs and normal maps to fit standard pipelines.

Exports include Unity prefabs, Unreal-ready assets, and glTF with configurable LODs. Sketchfab included motion presets for animated HUD elements and suggested shader parameters for quick visual matching in real-time engines.

The service is available via subscription with a per-export credit model and includes an enterprise tier with private datasets and custom texture packs. Sketchfab framed ModelMorph as a toolkit to speed up HUD prototyping and AR overlay design while keeping artist oversight central.
