SketchFlow introduces UX test generation powered by small-code models
Design · 3 min read
SketchFlow added a UX test generation feature that converts designer hypotheses and prototype flows into executable user-test scripts. The feature uses a small-code model that generates step-by-step scenarios, expected outcomes, and edge-case checks for usability testing.
Generated scripts can be exported to popular remote testing platforms or run in SketchFlow’s cloud runner for rapid moderated and unmoderated tests. The system also maps failures to specific components, helping teams triage problem areas faster.
Designers can iterate on their hypotheses inside the tool: adjust a step, re-run the test, and compare outcome metrics across versions. SketchFlow also offers a library of accessibility-focused scenarios to ensure coverage of common assistive technology interactions.
UX researchers appreciate the automation for scaling routine tests but caution against over-automation: nuanced qualitative insights still require human moderation and contextual probes.
