Sparrow Labs announced a $45 million Series B led by Andromeda Ventures with participation from Harbor Capital and several strategic device manufacturers. The company’s platform runs synchronized audio, video, and sensor models on constrained hardware with sub-50ms latency, targeting robotics, retail analytics, and AR wearables.
Founder and CEO Mira Chen said the round will fund a new developer SDK, additional model optimizations, and regional data centers to reduce inference lag. Sparrow Labs also revealed partnerships with two wearable OEMs that will integrate the runtimes for on-device captioning and object detection later this year.
Investors flagged the team’s focus on robustness and privacy as differentiators; Sparrow keeps models largely on-device and provides encrypted telemetry for optional cloud analytics. The company plans to hire across engineering and developer relations to support enterprise trials beginning Q4.
