The plugin integrates into Autodesk’s Inventor and Fusion 360, allowing designers to provide constraints and functional requirements and receive several manufacturable part concepts. Outputs include parametric sketches and initial tolerancing suggestions.

Stability AI’s generative backend focuses on manufacturability heuristics, aiming to avoid impossible geometries and to suggest tooling-friendly features. The system also provides a “feasibility score” that flags parts requiring manual engineer review.

Autodesk emphasized the plugin’s role in early-stage ideation rather than final engineering; parametric outputs are intended to jumpstart human iteration. The tool supports export to common CAM workflows for downstream validation.
