Stability AI launches StableUI, a model trained on UI patterns for rapid mockups
AI · 4 min read
StableUI is optimized for generating multi-screen mockups and component sets with explicit attention to spacing systems, typography scales, and accessibility contrasts. It supports prompt chaining where designers can iteratively refine a mockup and request style consistency across screens.
Stability AI included a readiness toolkit that helps integrate StableUI outputs into design systems by mapping generated elements to tokens and suggesting matching components from popular libraries. The company also released a community hub for shared templates and prompt recipes.
Because the model was trained on publicly licensed UI assets, Stability AI is marketing StableUI as a low-risk option for teams wanting reproducible, editable mockups rather than fully new creative assets. Developers can run smaller versions of the model locally via a lightweight runtime.
