Stability AI releases StableSketch, an open vector model for designers

StableSketch is built to produce clean, editable vector assets that designers can tweak in their preferred editor. Unlike models tuned for raster outputs, StableSketch emits structured SVG with layer and group metadata, making it easier to convert outputs into design system components.
The open-source release includes a permissive license, sample pipelines for Figma and Inkscape, and a gallery of prompts demonstrating design patterns and token mapping. Stability AI is also providing model weights and fine-tuning recipes so studios can adapt the model to brand-specific aesthetics.
Community contributors are already publishing plug-ins and prebuilt style packs. Stability AI says the goal is to accelerate experimentation while encouraging tool maintainers to adopt provenance metadata to track the origin of generated vectors.
