Stability and Figma announce integration to convert StableDesign outputs to editable components

Stability AI and Figma announced a joint integration that converts StableDesign outputs into layered, token-mapped Figma components. The integration preserves named groups, suggested tokens, and accessibility notes so designers can refine generated assets without losing structure.
The importer offers an option to 'align tokens' which maps generated colors, spacing, and typography to a project's existing token set, reducing manual reconciliation work. It also flags places where generated assets diverge from token constraints and proposes fixes or replacements.
Both companies say the goal is to make generative assets first-class citizens in design workflows, reducing the friction between rapid ideation and production readiness. The feature is available as a Figma plugin with limited free usage and expanded access for enterprise customers.
