StabilityAI releases StableUX: model optimized for iconography and UI assets

StableUX is trained on a curated corpus of UI primitives and icon libraries to produce outputs that are easy to refine in vector editors. The release includes export options for SVG, optimized PBR snippets for 3D UI elements, and token generation for color, spacing, and elevation that sync to design systems. StabilityAI highlighted the model’s deterministic sampling modes for reproducible results in design pipelines.

A companion CLI and plugin for popular tools let teams batch-generate icon sets and map them to existing component names. The company also introduced 'token-aware prompting,' where designers can provide a target token set and receive assets that conform to those constraints. This helps maintain visual consistency when generating assets at scale.

Design teams praised StableUX for reducing grunt work on large projects and for the ability to generate many iterations quickly. StabilityAI stressed that the model is intended to complement hand-crafted assets, not replace skilled illustrators or brand designers.
