StableCore Game Toolkit uses LLMs to auto-generate NPC dialogue trees for rapid prototyping
Gaming · 4 min read
StableCore Game Toolkit is a new product aimed at game designers who prototype narrative interactions. The toolkit uses a controllable LLM to generate branching dialogue options, emotional states, and conditional triggers that designers can visualize and edit in a node-based editor.
Outputs are engine-ready—exportable as JSON, Ink, or directly into Unity and Unreal dialogue systems—so prototypes behave like production content. The model supports persona locking, constraint chips (e.g., avoid spoilers, maintain tone), and a "consistency checker" that flags contradictions across branches.
Indie teams testing the toolkit reported a major speedup in creating believable NPC chatter and side quests, enabling quicker playtests. Stability offers both an open-source runtime and hosted services for real-time in-game use.
