StableLab introduces StableDesign: diffusion models focused on rapid UI mockups and visual systems
AI · 5 min read
StableDesign aims to produce multi-screen mockups with consistent visual systems—buttons, cards, typographic scales—rather than one-off isolated screens. The models accept a brief, brand assets, and example layouts to produce a suite of screen variants that designers can import into their design tool of choice.
StableLab provided an asset pipeline that separates structure (wireframes) from visual styling so designers can regenerate themes without losing layout intent. The release includes licensing terms that let studios use generated assets commercially and tools to filter out copyrighted image styles.
To address reproducibility and collaboration, StableLab added 'seed bundles'—portable packages containing initial random seeds, model parameters, and prompts so teams can reproduce visual generations deterministically across sessions.
