StableWorkspace launches a collaborative canvas blending vector and diffusion workflows
Design · 4 min read
StableWorkspace offers a hybrid editor where designers can sketch in vectors, then invoke diffusion models to generate textures, background expansions, and image-based components that remain editable. The UI keeps vectors and raster generations linked so changes to component tokens propagate through generated assets. Real-time collaboration, commenting, and versioning are built into the canvas for synchronous design sessions.
The product integrates with existing design systems and includes export pipelines to standard formats, plus provenance tracking for model prompts and training sources. StableWorkspace also added moderation and content filters to help teams maintain brand-safe outputs. Its openness to plugin authors lets studios create domain-specific generators tuned for product screenshots, icons, or hero imagery.
Early customers noted faster ideation cycles and fewer handoffs between concept artists and UI teams. Some studios raised concerns about file size management with rasterized generations; StableWorkspace responded by releasing streaming asset techniques and selective bake options to control project heft.
