Strata Networks releases low-latency mesh WAN appliance and raises $22M to expand enterprise sales

The Strata appliance uses an adaptive packet-routing layer that bonds multiple WAN links and leverages path-aware transport to cut jitter and packet loss for real-time apps. Management is delivered via a zero-trust cloud console with policy templates.

The company raised $22 million in a round led by Summit Ridge to scale field sales and partner with MSPs. Strata will use the funds to certify hardware for telecom partners and broaden geographic coverage for on-demand edge routing.

Strata's early customers include content studios and telco edge data centers that need consistent streaming performance. The appliance also integrates WAN optimization features for hybrid cloud migrations and distributed CI/CD workloads.

Strata promises a simple proof-of-concept process and claims deployment within a day for typical branch offices. The company plans an expanded roadmap that includes SD-WAN orchestration and AI-driven routing heuristics.
