StrataCloud raises $70M to launch unified edge for real-time AI gaming services

StrataCloud announced $70 million in Series C funding led by Frontier Infrastructure and released StrataEdge, an edge fabric designed to run real-time AI services for games, including personalization models, player churn predictors, and regional matchmaking. The fabric prioritizes deterministic latency and federated model updates to maintain regional relevance.

StrataEdge provides a managed control plane, regional model orchestration, and privacy-preserving telemetry aggregation. Game studios can deploy microservices and ML models closer to players without building their own edge infrastructure.

The capital will scale PoPs in underserved regions, expand SDKs for engines, and build model marketplaces for pre-trained game algorithms. Several live-service publishers are already testing StrataEdge for seasonal personalization features.
