StrataLabs launches 'UX Replay'—user session replay with design-aware annotations
Design · 4 min read
UX Replay differs from generic session replay tools by linking activity back to the product's design system. When users show friction, the platform highlights the exact component, variant and token involved and suggests remediation paths for designers and engineers.
The product also offers heatmaps, funnel analysis and automated clustering of problematic sessions. A key feature is its 'design impact score' which ranks UX issues by frequency, severity and conversion cost to help teams triage work.
StrataLabs will offer UX Replay as a freemium SaaS with deeper analytics and integrations behind a paid tier. The company emphasized privacy-first defaults and client-side masking to comply with strict data protection norms.
Design leaders said linking qualitative session data to concrete components will reduce the back-and-forth between analytics and design teams and accelerate targeted fixes.
