Stripe launches Creator Payouts and raises $150M to support creator economy payments

Creator Payouts enables marketplaces and platforms to define complex revenue splits, automate taxes and withholdings by region, and schedule flexible payouts to creators and collaborators. The product also includes reconciliation tools and a simple UI for creators to manage their income.

Stripe’s $150 million funding will bolster cross-border settlement capabilities, build fraud mitigation for creator payments, and expand direct deposit coverage to more countries. The move is pitched as lowering friction for platforms that monetize creative work.
