StudioFlow adds Model Marketplace for collaborative prototyping

The new marketplace lets teams browse curated models for tasks like UX microcopy, icon generation, layout suggestions, and accessibility checks. Each listing includes a model card with training data provenance, latency and cost estimates, and sample outputs. StudioFlow supports pay-as-you-go and private deployment options, allowing companies to bring their own fine-tuned models into the editor.

Crucially for collaborative workflows, StudioFlow enforces model access controls at the project level and provides usage auditing so managers can see which models are used across prototypes. The platform also supports chained pipelines — for example, using a copy model to generate microcopy followed by an accessibility model to validate tone and contrast.

Designers appreciated the convenience but some flagged the potential for inconsistent outputs across shared templates. StudioFlow responded by adding a “model lock” feature that pins a project to specific model versions to maintain reproducibility during handoffs.
