StudioLine raises $9M Seed to launch Stage — a real-time prototyping tool for product animation

StudioLine announced a $9 million seed round and the launch of Stage, a real-time prototyping environment for motion design and interaction. Stage offers physics-driven controls, timeline-based orchestration, and exportable interaction specs that engineers can import into product builds.
The tool integrates with existing design systems so motion tokens and easing curves are kept in sync with visual tokens. StudioLine’s founders describe Stage as bridging the gap between motion designers and engineers by producing machine-readable interaction definitions alongside preview assets.
The funding will accelerate enterprise feature builds such as SSO, team roles, and auditing for design changes. Early customers in fintech and consumer applications praised Stage for reducing back-and-forth between teams and making complex micro-interactions easier to iterate on and test with users.
