Synapse Health Raises $70M Series C for Clinical AI and Launches CarePilot Product

Synapse Health announced a $70 million Series C and the limited release of CarePilot, a clinical AI assistant that ingests EHR notes, labs, and imaging reports to produce prioritized care plans and suggested orders. The funding round was led by HealthScale Partners and will expand validation studies and regulatory compliance efforts.

CarePilot emphasizes explainability and clinician control, highlighting a provenance feature that links each recommendation to the underlying chart evidence and applicable guidelines. The company completed multi-center retrospective studies showing efficiency gains for discharge planning and order set recommendations.
